Oakdale Christian School Principal Announced

The Oakdale District Board and the Grand Rapids Christian Schools (GRCS) Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that Eric Burgess has been appointed Principal at Oakdale Christian Elementary School.

You may already know Eric from his work as Director of Admissions with GRCS. He has also served as an English teacher at Grand Rapids Christian High School and as interim principal at Rockford Christian School. Both the Board and staff members spoke to Eric about his experiences and goals, and the screening/interview committee was impressed by his honesty, energy and, above all, his deep commitment to Christian education.

We are equally pleased to announce that Don Bultman has agreed to serve as a consultant and mentor to Eric as he transitions into the principal position. As a former Principal of Oakdale, Don is a familiar and trusted face for many. His extensive experience and wisdom will be a steadying influence in the Oakdale community during this transition.
