Welcome To The 2008-09 School Year

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. I am happy to welcome you back, and I thank you for choosing a Christian education for your child. Grand Rapids Christian Schools serves families in an invaluable way-teaching students to apply a Christian worldview to all aspects of life. It is a great honor to join with you in raising kids for Christ.

At our opening day kickoff on August 28, we welcomed back staff members with a great day of worship, praise and celebration. Rich Liverance, parent of three, and pastor of Kentwood Baptist Church, and Jonathan Quist, Grand Rapids Christian High School art teacher, led nearly 300 staff members during this wonderful experience. This was a time for staff to come together and conclude the day with lunch at the new Quest Center.
