Welcome to the Early Childhood program at Grand Rapids Christian Schools.
We feel that the early years should be a positive, wonder-filled time of learning. Children are actively learning about their place in the world, among family, friends, and the community. During these foundational years, each child, created in the image of God, constructs their knowledge and understanding of everything in God’s world as they become discerning stewards doing His will.

Our classroom environment reflects God’s creation inspiring children to know God’s world, learn from it, and  care for it. Teachers are central to the educational setting, modeling a Christ-centered, joy-filled life. Your child will find themselves to be excited about learning, exploring, experimenting, and expanding their knowledge and friendships. Our program is designed to be Christ-centered, hands-on, intellectually engaging, child-centered curriculum based on the Michigan State Benchmarks.

Preschool education at Grand Rapids Christian Schools is a safe and nurturing environment that offers a foundation of faith and fun. We believe your child is a gift from God, a treasure to be guarded and cultivated; a treasure that requires the heart and soul of excellent Christian teachers who help every child realize his or her God-given potential.

Our early childhood programs are customized for 3- to 5-year-olds as they begin their journey of interactive learning. Teachers encourage hands-on, experiential learning, focusing especially on God’s creation.

Laying a foundation of faith is a key goal. Prayer, Bible stories and worship time are part of every day. Children hear the story of God and His love for us, and they’re taught to share requests during prayer time.

Eagles Kids Club
Parents of young children can make tuition more affordable by participating in the Eagles Kids Club. Parents of children enrolled in a GRCS preschool are eligible and can earn up to $1,000 in tuition reductions just by fulfilling the promise of a Christian education for their children.
